Hey everyone, I’m really excited to share my journey with setting up a smart irrigation system! A few months back, I came across the Hunter X Core watering system and decided to integrate it into my smart home setup. The goal was to automate the activation of a pump whenever the watering system starts. However, I quickly realized that detecting the voltage change from 5V to 24V wasn’t straightforward.
After some research and trial and error, I found a workaround using a simple circuit to detect the voltage change and trigger a Wi-Fi switch. This small project taught me a lot about working with sensors and automation. Now, my garden gets watered perfectly without any manual intervention!
