Hey everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! I wanted to share some of my recent experiences with my smart home setup and see if anyone has encountered similar issues or has advice to offer.
First, I’ve been having a bit of trouble with my Wyze Cam V3. It seems like the adapter is overheating, and I’m a bit concerned about the safety aspect of this. Has anyone else experienced this issue with their Wyze cameras? I’d love to hear if there’s a solution or workaround for this problem.
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with the Smart Lighting app, and I’ve run into some inconsistencies. Specifically, when I try to set up new lighting automations, they don’t always save properly. I’ve noticed that rebooting the hub or uninstalling the Smart Lighting app doesn’t seem to help. However, I’ve found that using cloud-based apps instead of the Smart Lighting app directly does the trick. It’s a bit of a hassle, but it works for now.
I’ve also been really impressed with my Shelly devices. They’ve been much more reliable and user-friendly compared to some of the other brands I’ve tried. It’s a shame that I’m having to phase out some of my older devices, but at least I have good alternatives now.
If anyone has tips or tricks for improving the reliability of their smart home setup, I’d love to hear about them! Thanks for reading, and I look forward to hearing from you all.
