Hi everyone, I’m new to the world of smart home automation and I’m trying to set up some vacation lighting routines using the Smart Lights App. My goal is to have the lights turn on at sunset and off at 1:00 AM. I’ve managed to create and save the vacation routine on my phone, but I’m a bit stuck on how to actually activate or deactivate it through the SmartThings app. If anyone has tips or resources on how to do this, I’d really appreciate it!
In the meantime, I’ve been exploring other smart home devices. I recently came across the August View Additional Battery, which seems like a great addition for enhancing my home security setup. If anyone has experience with this product, I’d love to hear about your experiences or any advice you might have.
On a lighter note, my girlfriend and I have been using our smart home setup to create cozy evenings at home. We’ve set up our lights and music to automatically adjust when we sit down to relax. It’s been a fun way to unwind after a long day.
I’m also looking into integrating more devices from different brands, but I’m a bit overwhelmed by the options out there. If anyone has tips on how to seamlessly integrate multiple brands or systems, I’d be grateful for the advice!
