Hi everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting and wanted to share my recent project and ask for some advice. I recently set up a flow using an Aqara motion sensor combined with a countdown timer to control my hallway lights. The system turns the lights on for a set amount of time whenever motion is detected, which has been working perfectly so far. However, I’d like to take this a step further and adjust the brightness based on the time of day.
During the day, I’d love for the lights to be brighter to maximize natural light, while at night, I’d prefer a softer, more ambient glow to create a cozy atmosphere. I’ve heard that this kind of automation is possible, but I’m not entirely sure how to implement it. Does anyone have tips or tricks for setting this up?
I’ve considered using scene automation or maybe integrating some smart plugs, but I’m not sure if that’s the most efficient approach. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Looking forward to hearing from you all and learning more about the possibilities with smart lighting. ![]()
