I’ve been experimenting with the Shelly RGBW PM Device and it’s been a game-changer for my smart lighting setup. This device combines 4 independent 12/24V DC LED dimmers with 4 configurable inputs, making it incredibly versatile for both lighting and sensor applications. I’ve set it up to control my RGB(WW) lighting system, and the results have been nothing short of amazing.
One of the most impressive features is the ability to configure the inputs as either digital or analog. I tested this by connecting a water leak sensing cable to one of the analog inputs, and it worked perfectly as a leak detector. This added an extra layer of security to my home automation system.
The device’s integration with HE (Home Assistant) has been seamless, thanks to the excellent driver support provided by @dmitry.rozovik. I’ve been able to create fully independent lighting zones, each with its own dimming control. This setup has transformed my outdoor lighting system into a dynamic and responsive ecosystem.
I’d love to hear from others who are using this device or similar solutions. Have you found any creative ways to utilize the Shelly RGBW PM Device? Let’s share our experiences and tips!
