Smart Lighting Automation with Sunset Trigger

I recently set up a smart lighting automation to turn on a light using an outlet, and I must say, it’s been a game-changer for my evenings. I’ve been using the SmartThings app v 1.7.43-22, and overall, it’s been a smooth experience. However, I encountered a little hiccup when trying to set the automation to trigger at sunset. Despite my best efforts, the outlet switch never activated when I set the time to ‘sunset’. I couldn’t help but wonder if I was missing something or if there was a bug in the app. After some research and reaching out to the community, I discovered that sometimes the sunset time isn’t recognized correctly due to location settings. Once I adjusted that, everything worked like a charm! It’s amazing how a little tweak can make such a big difference. Now, my lights automatically turn on as the sun sets, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the evenings. I’m really glad I figured this out—it’s one less thing to worry about as the days get shorter. If anyone else is having similar issues, don’t hesitate to ask for help. The community here is super supportive!
