Hey everyone! I wanted to share some of my experiences with smart lighting DIY projects and some troubleshooting tips that might help others. 
First, I recently set up a series of Govee string lights in my living room, and it’s been a game-changer! The ability to customize colors and brightness has completely transformed the ambiance. However, I ran into an issue with the power supply where the lights flickered occasionally. After some research, I discovered that using a surge protector with wider spacing helped stabilize the connection. 
Another project I’m proud of is creating a cloud effect using my Govee LED strips. It was a bit tricky at first, but adjusting the RGB settings and using a dimmer made all the difference. I documented the process and shared it in a recent post—hope it inspires someone! 
For those dealing with power outage notifications, I found that ensuring all devices are on the same network and checking the firmware updates resolved some issues I was having. It’s also a good idea to test the notifications manually to make sure everything is working as expected.
