Hey everyone, I wanted to share a fun experience I had recently using my Hue lights for a birthday party! 
I’ve been a fan of smart lighting for a while now, and when I heard about the Spotify Sync feature, I knew I had to try it out. The idea of syncing my Hue lights with the music playing on Spotify sounded like a blast, especially for a party setting. However, there was one catch— the party wasn’t at my place, so I needed to figure out a way to use my Hue lights without bringing the bridge along. I reached out to the community for advice and was thrilled to discover that it’s possible to use the lamps without the bridge by setting up a local network! 
I decided to test this out with a few of my Hue lights. The setup was surprisingly straightforward—just plug them in and let them connect via the local network. The Spotify Sync integration worked like a charm, and the lights danced perfectly to the rhythm of the music. It added such a cool vibe to the party, and everyone was impressed by how seamlessly everything worked together.
