Smart Lighting Integration and Energy Monitoring

I’m really excited about integrating smart lighting into my home! I recently purchased some Govee LED strips and I must say, they’ve added a whole new dimension to my living space. The RGB and RGBW options are amazing for creating different moods, especially during parties or just for everyday ambiance. However, I came across a feature request that would make these strips even better—built-in blacklights for those fun, glow-in-the-dark nights! It’s just a thought, but it could really enhance the versatility of these lights. :star2:

On another note, I’ve been exploring energy monitoring solutions. I stumbled upon the INNR SP120, which tracks power consumption, but the update frequency is every 30 seconds, which isn’t quite real-time for my needs. I’m looking for a device that can monitor energy usage to the second, especially for devices that turn on and off frequently. If anyone has recommendations or experiences with such devices, I’d love to hear about them! :bar_chart:

I also wanted to share a quick tip for anyone dealing with motion sensors. I found a GitHub repository for a ‘Motion Lighting’ app that allows for different brightness levels and immediate control without waiting for updates. It’s been a lifesaver for me! :rocket:

Lastly, I’m curious if others have had success integrating their smart devices with Google Home. I’ve been trying to connect my Wiser Heat system, but it keeps showing ‘Could not reach Wiser Heat.’ Any troubleshooting tips or similar experiences would be appreciated! :hammer_and_wrench:

Looking forward to hearing from the community and sharing more insights! :speech_balloon:
