Hi everyone, I’m really excited to share my recent project where I integrated smart lighting and sound control in my garage. I’ve been planning to upgrade my carport lighting using WS2815 LEDs with a D1 Mini ESP8266 controller, and I also wanted to add a cool sound feature to control the LEDs. I’m thinking of using HomeAssistant’s radio player or a similar service to stream music to some speakers under my carport. The idea is to have the LEDs respond to the sound, creating a dynamic lighting effect. However, I don’t have any speakers yet, so I’m curious if anyone has recommendations or suggestions on how to implement this. I’m also looking for advice on the best hardware to use for this setup. Would it be better to go with wired or wireless speakers? I’m open to any ideas and would appreciate any tips or experiences shared by the community.
