Hey everyone, I’m looking to upgrade my backyard decking with some smart lighting, and I wanted to get your thoughts on the best options out there. After spending some time researching, I’ve come across a lot of cheap RGBWW and RGBCCT lights on Amazon, but most of them seem to rely on RF or Bluetooth, which isn’t ideal for my setup. I’d love to integrate these lights with my existing Home Assistant ecosystem, especially since my wall lights are already controlled via Sonoff modules.
Zigbee is my preferred protocol, but I’m open to Wi-Fi if necessary. I’ve seen some promising reviews for certain brands, but I’d love to hear from anyone who’s had success with specific models. Are there any standout products that you’d recommend for in-deck lighting?
