Hey everyone, I wanted to share a fun little project I’ve been working on in my mudroom. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s been a great way to get more familiar with automation and smart lighting. I’ve set up some RGB lights in our mudroom cubbies using an ESP12 running Tasmota and 144 WS2812B LEDs. Right now, they’re mainly for notifications—like blinking if there’s something on the calendar or if it’s going to rain. I’m really happy with how it’s turned out so far!
I’m thinking of adding a few more features, but I need to figure out the best way to display them without overcrowding the space or making it look messy. It’s been a great learning experience, and I’m excited to see how I can expand on this in the future. If anyone has tips or suggestions, I’d love to hear them!
