Hi everyone, I’m new to the forum and hoping to get some advice on integrating smart thermostats with my existing Busch-Jäger Balance SI switch panels. I’m in the middle of a major renovation and will soon have underfloor heating (UFH) in the ground floor. The thermostats and control system are still up in the air. I’m an Apple user and would love to integrate the room thermostats for the UFH (and later possibly the radiators) into HomeKit. From what I understand, this would require the new Controller II, which is HomeKit capable. However, I also want to install these thermostats into the Busch-Jäger Balance SI switch panels. I’ve found that the older thermostats can be installed in these panels, but they don’t work with the new Controller II. The new thermostats, on the other hand, aren’t designed for integration into Busch-Jäger panels. I’m struggling to find alternative manufacturers that offer thermostats compatible with both HomeKit (and ideally Matter in the future) and the Busch-Jäger Balance SI panels. Does anyone have experience with this and can offer some guidance? Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
