I’ve been experimenting with smart lighting lately and ran into an interesting issue with my color bulbs. About a week ago, one of my bulbs started changing colors on its own. I set it to bright white, but after about five minutes, it turned blue. When I tried to reset it, the response wasn’t consistent with the other bulbs. Now, two more bulbs are doing the same thing, switching to a pale white/yellow instead of staying blue. It’s pretty frustrating because I rely on these bulbs for consistent lighting in my living room.
I’ve noticed that there’s also a periodic flash, but I can’t tell which bulbs are flashing. I’ve tried resetting them individually and checking the firmware for updates, but nothing seems to help. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did you find a solution?
On a more positive note, I’ve been really impressed with how easy it is to set up routines with Alexa. I created a simple routine to turn on my bathroom light when I say, “Good morning,” and it works perfectly every time. It’s little touches like this that make smart home technology so enjoyable.
