I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting lately, and I must say, it’s been an absolute blast! 
I recently installed a set of Govee Glide Hexas in my living room, and the results have been nothing short of magical. These little guys have completely transformed the ambiance of my space, and I couldn’t be happier with how they handle gradients. The colors blend so smoothly, it’s like having a rainbow right in my living room! 
One thing I was particularly worried about was how they’d hold up during painting. I have 64ft of Govee RGBIC LEDs running along the ceiling, and painting around them seemed daunting. But I decided to leave them up and paint around them, and honestly, it wasn’t as bad as I thought! The quarter-inch gap I left was just enough to ensure the paint didn’t get too close. Plus, now I have this stunning light display to show off my freshly painted walls. 
I’ve also been experimenting with different scenes and automations. For instance, I set up a routine where the lights dim slightly when it’s time to wind down for the evening, creating a cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing. It’s little touches like these that really make a home feel smart and connected.
