Smart Lighting Setup: A Hands-On Experience

I recently dove into the world of smart lighting, and I must say, it’s been an enlightening experience! :rocket: I decided to install a Qubino Flush Dimmer behind a wall push-button, aiming to control my lights seamlessly through the SmartThings app. While the app integration worked perfectly for switching and dimming, I encountered a curious issue: the push-button wouldn’t dim the lights when held down. After some troubleshooting, I realized the wiring configuration might be the culprit. I connected the push-button’s output wire to Input1 of the Qubino, but perhaps a different configuration is needed. I’m currently exploring the device handlers and parameters to resolve this, as I’d love to fully utilize the push-button’s functionality.

On a lighter note, I stumbled upon the Govee Spring Merch 2024 collection, and I’m absolutely thrilled about the new products! The binoculars, cable storage box, and phone accessory kit caught my eye, and I can’t wait to see them in action. It’s amazing how these gadgets blend seamlessly into both everyday life and tech-savvy setups. Govee never disappoints with their innovative designs!

Another highlight of my smart home journey has been experimenting with Shelly devices. I’ve been using a Shelly Wall Display to monitor outdoor temperatures, and while I faced some initial challenges with font size adjustments, I managed to tweak the settings using CardMod. It’s now perfectly suited for my needs, displaying the temperature in a clean, easy-to-read format. The ability to customize these devices really enhances their usability!

I’d love to hear from others who have tackled similar projects or have tips for optimizing smart lighting setups. Whether it’s wiring configurations, device integrations, or creative use cases, your insights are invaluable! Let’s keep the smart home revolution rolling! :star2:
