Smart Lighting Setup and Color Scheduling Success

Hi everyone! I wanted to share my recent success with setting up smart lighting and scheduling color changes. I’ve been experimenting with my Govee bulbs and the Hue system, and it’s been a fantastic journey. :star2:

I started by installing three desk neon lights in my workspace. Two are 10ft strips, and one is a longer 16.4ft strip for my TV stand. The longer strip was a bit tricky because it only allows cutting up to 2-3ft, but I managed to make it work by adjusting the layout. It’s amazing how these lights completely transformed my space! :bulb:

I also tried setting up color schedules using the scheduler feature. I wanted specific colors to display at certain times, like warm whites in the morning and cooler tones in the evening. At first, I wasn’t sure if it was possible, but after some research and testing, I figured it out! Now, my home automatically shifts through different hues throughout the day, creating a calming and dynamic atmosphere. :rainbow:

For those of you wondering about notifications and device integrations, I’ve had great success with my Yale lock and Veralite system. Pairing them was straightforward, and they’ve added an extra layer of security to my home. The only hiccup was a false door-open alert, but I realized it was due to another Vera controller nearby. A quick adjustment in settings resolved the issue! :lock:

I’d love to hear about your smart lighting setups or any tips you have for optimizing color schedules. Let’s share our experiences and keep learning together! :speech_balloon::sparkles:
