I’ve been really enjoying setting up my smart home with various devices, and I wanted to share some of my experiences and tips. One thing I’ve found incredibly useful is converting traditional switches to smart lights. It’s amazing how much more convenient and energy-efficient my home has become!
I recently converted several switches to smart lamps using the device type converter feature. I was a bit worried about losing the power management entities, but it turns out they’re still accessible in the new light device. That was a relief! Now, I can control my lights through the app and even set up scenes for different moods.
Another thing I’ve been experimenting with is room lighting settings. I tried grouping my smart bulbs and setting up rules to turn them on simultaneously. It took a bit of trial and error, but I finally got it working seamlessly. The popping effect is gone, and my lights come on smoothly now.
