I recently embarked on a journey to transform my home into a smart haven, and I must say, it’s been an exciting ride! 
Starting with the basics, I decided to upgrade my lighting system using Govee products. Their RGBIC Flood Lights, specifically the H7060 model, have been a game-changer. The vibrant colors and brightness are simply stunning, and the app control makes everything so seamless. I couldn’t be happier with how they’ve enhanced my space. 
However, the journey wasn’t without its bumps. I encountered some issues with pairing a Z-Wave switch, which was quite frustrating. After some research and trial and error, I discovered that using the Hubitat app with a QR code was the solution. It taught me the importance of patience and thorough research when setting up smart devices. 
One of the highlights of my setup has been integrating my Govee lights with Alexa routines. It’s amazing how a simple voice command can set the mood for any occasion. I’ve even managed to create a fun scene where the lights change colors as I play music, thanks to some clever automation.
