Summer is here, and I’ve been diving into creating a smarter home environment! I recently set up some Govee outdoor spotlights and a motion sensor on my terrace. It’s been a fantastic experience, but I hit a snag when one of my outdoor sensors went missing. 
The sensor had been working perfectly, detecting motion and lighting up the area automatically. But one day, it just vanished! I scoured the area, checked Bluetooth signals, and even reviewed the app logs to no avail. It was like it had disappeared into thin air. 
After some research and reaching out to the community, I found a workaround by using a different sensor placement strategy. Turns out, the sensor wasn’t lost—it just needed a better spot to detect motion effectively! 
Now, my terrace is fully automated, and I couldn’t be happier. The lights come on when needed, and I don’t have to fumble with switches anymore. Plus, I’ve learned some handy tips for troubleshooting sensors and optimizing their placement.
