Hi everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting lately, and I wanted to share my experiences and some tips that might help others who are just starting out or looking to enhance their setup. 
Recently, I installed a set of Govee Glide Y lights in my living room. The initial setup was smooth, but I encountered a small hiccup with the adhesive tabs. They worked perfectly at first, but after a few hours, they started to lose their grip. I tried using Gorilla Heavy Duty double-sided tape as a solution, but unfortunately, the same issue persisted. After some research, I discovered that the type of adhesive used in these tabs might not be suitable for all surfaces. If anyone else is facing this issue, I’d recommend trying a different adhesive or even consulting the manufacturer for surface-specific solutions. 
On a more positive note, I’ve been absolutely thrilled with how seamlessly my smart lights integrate with my existing ecosystem. Pairing them with my voice assistant has made controlling the ambiance in my home incredibly convenient. For instance, I’ve set up routines where the lights dim automatically in the evenings, creating a cozy atmosphere. It’s these little touches that really make smart lighting worthwhile!
