Hey everyone! I’m really excited to share my experience setting up smart lighting for my game room. I’ve been using RGB strip LEDs for a while now, and it’s been a fantastic way to create the perfect gaming atmosphere. I decided to go with a Fibaro RGB controller, but honestly, getting it to work smoothly has been a bit of a challenge. 
I wanted to replicate the rapidly changing color sweep effect I’ve seen with RF remote controls. While the Fibaro does a great job with static colors, it’s been a bit clunky when it comes to rapid cycling. I’ve heard that other controllers might handle this better, but I’m sticking with what I have for now. If anyone has tips on how to improve the speed or smoothness, I’d love to hear them! 
One thing I’ve really enjoyed is using Hubitat to control everything. It’s amazing how easy it is to set up routines and automations. For example, I have a rule that turns the lights red and dims them after 30 minutes of no movement, which is perfect for late-night gaming sessions. The integration with Alexa has also been a lifesaver—I can change colors or turn the lights off with just my voice.
