Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent project of setting up smart lighting in my kitchen. It’s been a journey, but I’m really happy with how it turned out. I decided to go with Govee lights because they offer a great balance of quality and affordability. I’ve got three sections in my kitchen, each with its own set of lights, and I use Govee scenes and automations to control them throughout the day. During cooking, I keep them on cool white for better visibility, and after finishing, they switch back to a warmer tone to create a cozy atmosphere. It’s amazing how much the lighting can transform the space!
I’ve also added a modern chandelier over my kitchen island with four Govee bulbs that follow the room’s theme. I’m still figuring out the best way to add more lighting to the island, but for now, it’s working perfectly. If anyone has suggestions or tips, I’d love to hear them!
