I recently picked up some OSRAM RGBW bulbs for my front porch and wanted to share my experience with the Holidaze app I came across. It’s been a fantastic way to switch up the lighting for different occasions like Halloween or the holidays. Here’s how it works:

Setup: I connected the bulbs to my hub and installed the Holidaze app. It allows me to set custom color themes and switch between them effortlessly.

Automation: I linked the app with my doorbell and motion sensors. Now, when someone rings the bell or walks by, the lights switch to warm white for better visibility. It’s super handy for visitors!

Scenes: I’ve created different scenes for each season. For example, red and green for Christmas, orange for Halloween, and even a calming blue for autism awareness. It’s been a fun way to get into the festive spirit!

Ease of Use: The best part is how seamless it all is. I just set the colors once and let the app handle the rest. It even remembers the settings when I turn the lights off and back on.
