I recently decided to upgrade my home lighting system to make it more versatile for different occasions, especially the holiday season. I came across the Govee H61E0 M1 Strip Lights and decided to give them a try. After setting them up, I was truly impressed by their brightness and color accuracy. However, I noticed that the app didn’t have built-in preset modes for color changes, which I was hoping for to create that festive vibe.
I started experimenting with creating custom scenes using the app’s color picker and scheduling features. For instance, I programmed the lights to shift from red to green every 30 seconds, mimicking the flicker of flames. It’s a simple setup, but it adds a magical touch to our outdoor space during the holidays.
One thing I’d love to see in future updates is more preset modes for occasions like Halloween, Christmas, and even themed parties. In the meantime, I’ve found that combining different color transitions and scheduling them in advance works perfectly for my needs.
