I’ve recently completed setting up my smart lighting system, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results! 
My journey began with a desire to integrate multiple brands into one cohesive system. I started with Philips Hue for their vibrant colors and smooth dimming, and then added some budget-friendly Govee lights for additional coverage. 
One of the most rewarding aspects has been creating custom scenes. For instance, my ‘Dinner Mood’ scene dims the lights to 30% and sets a warm amber tone, perfect for cosy evenings. I also love how my ‘Good Morning’ routine gradually wakes me up with increasing brightness, mimicking natural sunlight. 
However, I encountered a minor hiccup with my motion sensors. Initially, they worked flawlessly in scenes but were unresponsive in programs. After some troubleshooting and resetting, they now function perfectly!
