It’s been a fun challenge figuring out how to integrate it into my smart home setup. I’ve got a few Schlage door/window sensors, some ST multi-sensors on my garage doors, and water sensors in the sump pump and water heater. So far, everything’s working smoothly, but I hit a snag when trying to set up the motion sensor in the SmartThings app—it kept defaulting to a door sensor instead of recognizing it as motion. Any tips on how to fix that would be awesome!
On another note, I’ve been exploring the Fibaro HC3 system. I’m curious if anyone has successfully added devices via MQTT without needing extra hardware like a Raspberry Pi or a Zigbee USB dongle. The HC3 seems powerful, but I’m not sure if it can handle MQTT connections on its own. Also, I stumbled upon this cool treasure hunt game recently—it was a blast!
