Smart Lighting Setup: RGB vs. CCT Performance

Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into smart lighting setups lately and wanted to share some of my experiences and questions. I’ve been using both RGB and CCT LED strips in my home, and I’m curious about how others handle color accuracy and brightness consistency across different modes.

I recently set up a RGB+CCT strip in my living room, and while it works perfectly in RGB mode, I’ve noticed some inconsistencies in xyY mode. The colors seem off, and the white balance isn’t as consistent as I’d like. I’m wondering if this is a common issue or if there are specific settings or firmware updates that can help improve this.

For those of you who use RGB+CCT setups, what have you found to be the best way to optimize color accuracy? Do you prefer one mode over the other for certain lighting scenarios? I’d love to hear your tips and tricks!

Also, I’m curious about how others handle the integration of different lighting brands. I’ve got a mix of Philips Hue and Govee lights, and while they work together, I sometimes run into compatibility issues. Has anyone found a seamless way to manage multiple brands in a single setup?

Looking forward to your insights and experiences! Let’s keep the discussion positive and collaborative.
