Hello everyone, I’m thrilled to share my recent success in setting up a smart lighting system in my home! 
After some research and experimentation, I managed to integrate my Hue bulbs with Fibaro dimmers and a SmartThings hub, creating a seamless and efficient lighting setup. Here’s how I did it and some tips I learned along the way: First, I started by identifying the areas where I wanted automation. For instance, in my living room, I set up a flow where the lights dim gradually as the sun sets, creating a cozy ambiance. This was easily achieved using the Sun Events app. One challenge I faced was ensuring consistency across different devices. I discovered that using consistent naming conventions for devices and automations made managing them much easier. For example, prefixing all lighting-related devices with ‘Light_’ helped keep things organized. Another tip is to take advantage of the built-in routines and scenes in the SmartThings app. I created a ‘Goodnight’ scene that turns off all bedroom lights and activates a nightlight in the hallway. It’s been a lifesaver! I also recommend setting up regular backups for your automations and device configurations. This has saved me from potential headaches when updating firmware or adding new devices. Lastly, don’t hesitate to explore the community for inspiration.
