I also had to ensure my NGINX configuration was correctly set up to handle SSL, which was crucial for integrating with Google Assistant.

If you’re just starting out, I highly recommend:
- Backup your system regularly. I learned this the hard way when migrating from SmartThings to Hubitat, butfortunately, the Hub kept multiple backups, saving me from disaster.
- Experiment with scenes. The persistence-based scenes approach I came across has been invaluable. It allows me to save and recall lighting configurations effortlessly.
- Don’t shy away from community resources. Forums like this have been instrumental in troubleshooting and sharing knowledge.
