Hey everyone, I’m reaching out to the community for some guidance on managing my Yale YRD240 Z-Wave lock. I recently integrated it with my SmartThings hub and I’m thrilled with its performance so far. However, I’m looking to enhance its functionality by implementing a more robust user management system for the door lock codes.
My goal is to be able to create, delete, and schedule codes for different users, such as family members or guests, with the added convenience of automatic lock and unlock features. This would be incredibly helpful for managing access during specific times or for temporary visitors.
I’ve done some preliminary research but haven’t found a straightforward solution yet. I’m wondering if anyone in the community has successfully set up something similar or has any tips or resources they could share. I’m also curious if there are any third-party apps or integrations that work well with SmartThings for this purpose.
