Hey everyone, I’ve recently installed a Smart Lock Pro 5th on my front door and it’s been a mostly smooth experience. However, I’ve encountered an issue that’s a bit concerning. Whenever I try to lock the door, especially at night, the app shows an error message saying there’s a motor issue. The door handle doesn’t lift properly, and the lock status in the app changes to locked even though the door wasn’t fully secured. This makes me a bit nervous about the reliability of the lock.
I’ve reached out to customer support, and they mentioned they’re aware of the issue and working on a fix. In the meantime, I’ve started double-checking the lock manually and ensuring the door handle is lifted before locking. It’s a bit of a hassle, but it’s better to be safe.
