Smart Lock Scheduling and Security Experience

Hello fellow smart home enthusiasts! I wanted to share my recent experience with the Wyze Lock-Bolt and how it has transformed my home security routine. I’ve been using Wyze products for a while now, and I must say, they’ve consistently impressed me with their reliability and user-friendly features.

Recently, I decided to set up a specific access schedule for a family member who occasionally stays over. I wanted to grant them access from Thursday evening until Saturday morning. At first, I thought it would be straightforward—just create a schedule and assign a code. However, I encountered a bit of a hiccup when trying to set the same code for multiple days. The system wouldn’t allow it, forcing me to generate a new code each day. That was a bit inconvenient, but I managed to work around it by creating separate schedules for each day.

After some trial and error, I got the scheduling down pat. It’s been a lifesaver for managing access without having to physically be present. The lock’s integration with my existing smart home ecosystem has also been seamless, adding an extra layer of security and convenience.

I’d love to hear from others who have experience with Wyze locks or similar products. How do you handle temporary access for guests or family members? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!

On a lighter note, I’ve also been exploring other smart home devices and would love to hear recommendations for reliable motion sensors and thermostats. The journey into smart home automation is both exciting and a bit overwhelming, but it’s definitely worth it!

Thanks for reading, and happy automating! :rocket:
