I recently set up my smart meter with the help of some great tutorials and community support. It’s amazing how much insight I’ve gained into my energy consumption patterns! 
One thing I struggled with initially was getting the meter to communicate properly with my Home Assistant setup. After some trial and error, I realized the importance of ensuring the correct encryption settings were in place. Once that was sorted, everything fell into place!
I’ve also been experimenting with automations based on the meter’s data. For instance, I created a routine that adjusts my thermostat slightly if the energy usage spikes during off-peak hours. It’s a small change, but it makes a difference!
