Working from home has never been more comfortable, thanks to my smart office setup! I’ve been experimenting with integrating Govee lighting and Aeotec sensors to create a personalized workspace that adapts to my needs throughout the day. 
Earlier this week, I faced a chilly challenge in my office. The cold weather made it hard to stay focused, so I decided to leverage my Rule Machine to automate my space heater. Using an Aeotec motion/temp sensor, I set up a rule to turn on the heater when the temperature drops below 68°F, ensuring the area around my desk stays snug. However, I encountered an issue where two conditions in my rule were marked as ‘Unused,’ which I later resolved by adjusting the logic to ensure all conditions are actively considered. 
This experience taught me the importance of thoroughly testing each condition and ensuring all parameters are correctly configured. It’s amazing how a little tweak can make a big difference in maintaining a comfortable workspace. Plus, integrating Govee lights has transformed the ambiance, making my office feel like a cozy retreat.
