I’ve always been a bit of a plant enthusiast, but integrating smart tech into my gardening setup has taken it to the next level! 
I wanted to create a self-sustaining indoor garden without getting too deep into DIY projects, so I decided to use my existing smart devices to help out. Here’s how I did it:
First, I set up a Govee LED grow light to ensure my plants get the right amount of light throughout the day. Pairing it with a Smart Thermostat has been a game-changer for maintaining consistent temperatures, especially during those chilly winter months. To keep things fresh, I added a Shelly Button to control a small fan that kicks in when the temperature rises above a certain threshold. It’s been running smoothly for months now!
What’s been most rewarding is seeing my plants thrive with minimal intervention. The Govee app makes it so easy to adjust light schedules, and the thermostat’s adaptive learning feature means I don’t have to constantly tweak settings. Plus, the fan adds a nice breeze that keeps the air circulating without being too disruptive.
