Hey everyone, I’m trying to set up a smart plug system in my home using Home Assistant, and I wanted to share my experiences and ask for some advice. I have two Broadlink SP4L plugs right now, but when I try to add a second one, the first one becomes unavailable. It’s a bit frustrating, but I’m determined to figure this out!
I’ve read that some plugs can have compatibility issues when adding multiple units, so I’m curious if anyone has a workaround or a different plug model that works seamlessly with HA. I came across some recommendations for other brands, but I’m not sure which ones are reliable.
On a lighter note, I love how these plugs are helping me automate my daily routines. For example, I set up a rule where my living room lights turn on automatically when I turn on my TV in the evening. It’s such a small thing, but it really adds to the convenience of smart living!
