Hi all, I’ve been using the Smart Presence app for quite some time now, and it’s been a reliable tool for detecting my presence at home. However, recently, I’ve noticed some strange behavior. Sometimes, the app doesn’t recognize me as being home, even when I’m clearly present. Other times, flows triggered by my presence are delayed, which is quite frustrating. I’ve double-checked my Wi-Fi setup, and everything seems to be in order. The IP addresses for my devices are static and haven’t changed in months. I’ve also restarted both the app and my Homey device, but the issue persists.
I’m curious if others are experiencing similar problems with Smart Presence. It’s been my go-to app for presence detection because geofencing is too unreliable, and the Beacon app doesn’t offer sufficient range. I’m hoping someone might have some insights or solutions to get this back to working smoothly. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!
