Smart Presence: Frequent Notifications Fixed!

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with Smart Presence and how I managed to fix a recurring issue. I’ve been testing Smart Presence with my iPhone, assigning it a static IP address, and using a sample flow from Robbshop. Everything worked perfectly when I entered the Wi-Fi range—I received a push notification. However, once I was home, I started receiving frequent notifications, almost every few seconds, indicating that I had left and then returned. This went on until the buffer was full, which was quite frustrating.

After some research, I discovered that the issue was related to the flow continuously triggering due to signal fluctuations. To resolve this, I adjusted the flow settings to include a delay before sending notifications. This helped stabilize the system and prevent the flood of messages.

Now, Smart Presence works seamlessly, notifying me only when there’s a genuine change in my presence status. It’s such a relief to have this sorted out, and I’m glad I could figure it out with a bit of trial and error. If anyone else is experiencing similar issues, I’d recommend checking your flow settings and considering adding delays to stabilize the notifications.

Thanks to the community for all the helpful tips and discussions that guided me through this process!
