Speaking of integrations, I recently faced an issue with my Wyze V3 cameras. They stopped working on all my Amazon devices using the Wyze Camera Skill, even though they still function perfectly on my iPhone and iPad. It was a bit frustrating, but after some troubleshooting, I found that the issue might be related to the Skill itself rather than the cameras. I managed to work around it by using the TinyCam app on my tablets, but I’m still hoping for a fix from Wyze.
On a more positive note, I wanted to share my experience with setting up device association using Aeotec Nano switches. I installed a second switch to control additional lighting in my bathroom, and after some research and trial and error, I managed to get it working seamlessly with the original switch. It’s amazing how much smoother this setup is compared to using scenes, especially with minimal lag. If anyone else is struggling with similar setups, I’d be happy to walk you through the steps I took!
I’m also curious to know if others have encountered issues with their smoke sensors triggering due to heat, like the porch charging scenario mentioned earlier. It’s a bit concerning, and I’m wondering if there are any adjustments or solutions to prevent false alarms.
