Smart Security System Arm Issue

I’ve recently encountered an issue with my Samsung ADT smart home security system that I thought I’d share with the community in case others have experienced something similar or might have a solution.

The problem occurs when I try to arm the system through the SmartThings app. The indicator spins for a while and then reverts to the ‘Ready to Arm’ status. While the system does actually get armed, the app doesn’t reflect this change. This is particularly frustrating because when I return home, I can’t disarm the system through the app and have to do it manually on the hub.

I’ve tried troubleshooting by restarting and resetting the hub, as well as deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times. Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? Any suggestions or workarounds would be greatly appreciated! It would be fantastic to find a solution that allows me to fully utilize the app for arming and disarming without having to resort to manual controls.
