The key was using the Aeon Labs Gen5 Z-Wave Doorbell receiver to store custom MP3 messages. Sorting the files by date and using the AltID in Vera was crucial for making it work seamlessly.
One thing I learned is the importance of proper device orientation. I had to experiment a bit with the doorbell transmitter before it worked reliably. It’s amazing how such a small detail can make or break a setup!
