I’ve recently embarked on a journey to integrate smart thermostats and automate my home environment, and I’m excited to share my experiences and insights with the community.
Starting with the installation of my Tado X system, I was initially puzzled when all my radiators defaulted to the lounge temperature despite setting them individually. After some research and reaching out to the community, I realized the importance of correctly configuring zone controllers. It was a bit of a learning curve, but now everything works seamlessly!
In addition to the thermostat setup, I’ve been exploring automation features. For instance, setting up my hot water pump to run on a schedule has been a game-changer. I initially struggled with the limitations of scheduling on the Leviton device, but discovering the workaround of using multiple rules made it possible. It’s amazing how a bit of creativity can solve seemingly complex problems.
