After months of research and setup, I’m thrilled to share my experience with the SmartThings thermostat integration. My family’s irregular schedule made traditional programming a nightmare, but ST presence detection has been a game-changer. By linking our phones, the thermostat now seamlessly adjusts based on our comings and goings. I was initially hesitant about relying solely on presence, but the integration with our new Ecobee3 has exceeded expectations. The ability to set custom temperature preferences for each family member adds an extra layer of comfort. I’m now looking forward to adding more smart devices to enhance our home automation further.
