Hi all, I’m from Europe (Holland) and I’ve been on the hunt for a smart thermostat that won’t interfere with my automations in Hubitat. From what I’ve heard, Nest’s internal automations can sometimes clash with other systems, so I’ve been exploring alternatives.
I’ve come across two options: the Honeywell Lyric T6 and the Tado Smart Thermostat. Both seem promising, but I’m curious to hear from others who might have experience with these or other thermostats.
One thing I’m particularly interested in is wireless functionality. I don’t have any wires from my boiler upstairs running downstairs, so wireless is a must for me. Does anyone have any recommendations or tips on setting these devices up?
