Hi all, I’m really curious about the capabilities of smart thermostats and how they can integrate with existing heating systems. I’ve been thinking about installing a smart thermostat to control my radiator system via a fan-coil ventilator. However, I also want to use it to start my gas boiler through a remote setup. My question is: can the smart thermostat operate both wired and remote modes at the same time? In other words, would it send a radio signal to the boiler receiver even if the wired part is connected? I’ve looked into some forums and product descriptions, but I haven’t found a clear answer yet. I’d really appreciate any insights or experiences from those who might have tried something similar. Thanks in advance! ![]()
