Hello everyone, I’m currently looking to upgrade my heating system by adding smart thermostats to nine radiators. I’ve heard great things about smart thermostats, but I need some recommendations that fit specific features I’m looking for. Here’s what I need:
- App or PC Control: I want to be able to adjust the settings remotely from my phone or computer.
- Alexa or Google Voice Control: It would be fantastic if I could control them using voice commands.
- Wi-Fi or Bluetooth Connectivity: The thermostats should connect via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth for seamless integration with my smart home setup.
- Nighttime Scheduling: This is crucial. I want the system to automatically lower the temperature from 16°C at 23:00 to 06:00. I’ve tested a few models, but not all support this specific scheduling feature.
I came across the Revolt ZX 5442, but I’m not sure if it meets all my requirements, especially the nighttime scheduling part. Has anyone had success with this model or can recommend another thermostat that ticks all these boxes?
Additionally, I’d love to hear about anyone’s experiences with nighttime scheduling. How do you handle it? Do you use a combination of manual and automatic settings? Any tips or tricks would be appreciated!
