I’ve been diving into the world of smart home devices lately, and I’m really excited to share my thoughts and experiences with you! 
Over the past week, I’ve become the proud owner of a Homey Bridge, and I’m thrilled to see how it can integrate with all the cool gadgets I want to add to my home. One of my top priorities right now is finding the perfect smart thermostat and smart TRV for my bedroom. After some research, I’ve narrowed it down to two options: Netatmo and Tado. Both are supported by the Homey Bridge, which is a huge plus for me! 
From what I can tell, Netatmo seems like a solid choice with a sleek design, while Tado has a wider range of features and seems to be more popular. But I’m not entirely sure which one would be the best fit for my home. I’ve read some comparisons online, and it seems like Tado gets a lot of praise for supporting modulating boilers, but I also heard that Netatmo now offers that functionality too. So, I’m curious to hear your experiences! 
I’d love to compare these two based on a few key factors:
- Energy-saving options: How effective are they at helping me reduce my energy consumption?
- Insight into consumption: Do they provide detailed data on how much energy I’m using?
- Sound/noise from the TRV: Is it quiet enough for a bedroom?
- Support and integration with Homey: How seamless is the setup and compatibility?
- Battery life of the TRV: How long do the batteries last?
If you’ve had experience with either Netatmo or Tado, I’d love to hear your thoughts! What do you recommend?
