Installing my first smart thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) has been an exciting journey! I recently added a Shelly Plus 1 module to control my heating system, and pairing it with a TRV has transformed how I manage room temperatures. **It’s so satisfying to see the radiator adjust automatically based on the room’s needs!**However, I ran into a few quirks along the way. Initially, I struggled with getting the TRV to communicate properly with the Shelly module. After some research and trial and error, I discovered that adjusting the temperature sensitivity settings made a huge difference. Now, the system responds much more accurately to changes in room temperature.One tip I’d love to share is to regularly check the calibration of your TRV. I found that a slight adjustment every few weeks keeps the system performing optimally.
