Smart Video Doorbell G4 and Integrated Events

In the Control Panel of the Doorbell G4 there is a button Integrated Events.

Can someone explain me what Integrated Events does, when to use it or not to use it.

For instance: I can add an event to turn on or off a light bulb but what is the point of doing that and why should I do that?
